The ShinMaywa Norus Series of Pumps are designed for 24/7 use. These pumps are perfect for use in a large water garden, koi pond, or skimmer. They are also ideal for powering water features, including disappearing waterfalls or long streams. Made for corrosion resistance, these pumps' exterior features 304 stainless steel and poly amide fiber reinforced resin construction.
The Norus Series has dual mechanical shaft seals, with silicon carbide in the lower and carbon ceramic in the upper. The vortex impeller is made to have excellent wear resistance; it is 100 times stronger than normal ABS resin impellers! Also, these pumps are equipped with a Tornado Fin to help cool the mechanical seal chamber to prevent deterioration of the seal. Each model features a power cord measuring 32 ft. in length. These pumps are backed by a 2-year warranty.
